wow! i would have never guessed what it is! yay.. it's so great to be one of the first 5 to submit my link... normally it would be so hard! haha. happy mym!
Looks like rape to me, or maybe mustard.
it is a pretty sight, though isn't it?!
pretty yellow fields :)
When we see miles of yellow in Alberta, it is almost always canola. This doesn't seem to be the exact same colour, however. (Canola used to be called rapeseed, but nobody wanted to use rapeseed oil for cooking, did you know?)

Thanks so much for hosting! I've linked up my edible back yard. Have a great Monday! Candace
So peaceful with the blue sky and yellow fields. I think the plants are rapeseed (Brassica napus). Have a nice week:)
thought they were rice fields? maybe not:)
That looks like California. I drove to Santa Cruz the other day, along the coast, and it was just gorgeous, lots of yellow blooms along the way.
im so back ;)
nice shot....

Beautiful! Love that yellow. looks like Raps (in german).
So pretty when there is a whole field of "something" that is a bright color. Very yellow!!
Mickie :)
it looks so pretty! love the blue skies too. have a good week!
Looks like Canola, makes for a pretty shot.
Great minds think alike. I also posted a photo of one of those golden fields that I snapped on a recent trip. I had to do some research to learn what it was.
That field is planted with Rape. Rapeseeds are used to make canola oil. It is also used as a cattle feed and to make a form of fuel.
Could be wheat or rapes, but whatever they are they sure look scenic.

I live in NYC and don't have a clue what might be growing in that field—but it sure is beautiful!

It looks like rice field...
Those flowers in the field must be buttercups. :)

YOu are invited to come and drop-by at My Mellow Yellow Monday: Personalized Yellow cake, etc
Have a great day!
It looks like yellow mustard to me -- here in California, farmers plant it as a cover crop, then they plow it under to add nutrients to the soil.
beautiful fields...nice shot
My mom used to say that I'm terrible at following directions and yet I'm commenting, as requested! :)
Beautiful scenery! Seems a lovely and serene field!
Thanks for sharing;o)
