I saw a lot of yellow this week - just not when I had my camera with me! So I'm digging into the archives again. Sis took this in 2008. Lots of orange, but the yellow sun is gorgeous! I always thought this had an African-feel to it, like she was out on safari somewhere, but it was taken near Toronto, Canada.

You're right, it does have an African feel to it. I took some photos in Hawaii last year that made me think of Africa. Maybe it's the large sky with the tree silhouetted on the horizon. Anyway, I wouldn't look at this and immediately think "Toronto"!

There are yellow feathers!! I thought it was a goldfinch, but it is a palm warbler! And, I agree! Before I read your photo location, I thought it was in a savannah or sub-Saharan Africa :)
