Mellow Yellow Monday #19

I love this little sunflower, it looks great on my windowsill. Of course Emmy (my cat) attempted to get in on the photo (as usual).

So later when she went for a snooze I decided to photograph her with the plant. She was not impressed, lol.

Oh wow, I missed this week again! I'm a bad blog mistress! Sorry - I hope to be more organized next week but I see everyone is carrying along just fine without me. Thanks!!

Let me start by saying Emma is adorable,(so is her name) I don't know what it is about animals but mine always want to "overtake" any pictures I am taking. I love your story here. Was it a battle of wills and Emma lost? all bummed kicked because she wanted in the picture when she wanted in the picture! LOL!!!
Cute picture Drowsey. Have a great week.

Karen said...

Emma is a cutie and her beautiful green eyes match the leaves on the sunflower :-)

I'm just about to plant some sunflower seeds outside. Think I might also plant some in pots, after seeing your beauty !

Hubby's Cook said...

cute sunflower! I was always amazed at Sunflowers. Sadly, their flowers don't grow that big here in our part of the globe.

My entry is up, BTW. Happy Monday!

What a wonderful sunflower, It almost doen't look real. The angle of your picture of your cat is very interesting. I thought you had it in there sideways and I turned my computer every which way. I guess my eyes are crooked. Beautiful cat and thanks for sharing and haveing Mellow Yellow.

sunflowers always remind me of a song. the lyrics of the chorus go like this:

like the sunflower that follows every movement of the sun
so i turn towards You, to follow You, my God...

am glad to have found this meme. yellow is one of my favorite colors! happy Monday!

Editing my picture and subsequently posting it has made me hungry.

That particular shade of tabby must be very common. My Portia looks very much like Emmy.
