Mellow Yellow Monday #5

This painting hangs in my livingroom. I bought it about 5 years ago from a street vendor. Obviously I was drawn to it because of the wonderful colour! But when I learned it was a painting of the port in Jaffa, Israel I knew for sure I wanted it. I had visited Jaffa in '94 with my mom and the painting is a nice memory of that trip.

I love the warm yellows of this scene. And the two little boats in the background, right below the strip of billowy clouds.

Your painting is lovely. The yellow sky reflected in the water is the perfect backdrop for the boats. And I'm sure it brings pleasant memories.

This is a very nice painting. It reminds me of my parents house where they had this sort of art throughout. That in itself is a very warm memory.
I finally found something yellow Drowsey and I am saying this with a smile. This is FUN!!!
Thanks for having me

Wonderful colors in that painting! I just found this meme by accident, and it so happens I accidentally have posted yellow too, so here I am, playing for the first time. Looking forward to visiting everyone to see their yellow!

Awesome painting. I love the yellows, but also the old ships and port. Looks like you could just step into the scene.

A nice choice for this meme. Not only is it a lovely painting and the different colours flow so nicely into eachother but it represents a wonderful and obviously mellow memory too.

That's a cool painting. I love harbor scenes. I would love to live in a little fishing village and hang out around the harbor and check out the daily catch everyday.
