My little corner of the world is ablaze with colour! I love this time of year. The colours are so vibrant with reds, oranges, yellows ... and all the shades in between. As I was out for a drive I saw this tree and had to pull over to take a photo. It was magnificent! (Click on the photo for a close-up view).
On my evening walk I noticed this sign. The truth is I've seen it many times before - there's a couple of seniors homes in the area so that's why it's there. But last night when I saw it, it struck me as kinda odd, lol. I mean, why am I watching them? Are they about to break out into a lively polka or something?
Yep - you definitely have to watch those elderly pedestrians ... I mean you never know what they'll do! ha!
My niece and I went to a local art exhibit - the art work was all around the city. This was one of the pieces. It was just something fun :)
And yes, it's a ball of yarn on a tree trunk, lol. There was lots of multi-colour yarn strung about, it was kinda cool and it must have taken them quite some time to set it up! It was actually kinda pretty. Click on the photo for a close-up look.
I'm away all day today - so that's why I'm posting this really, really early.
My niece and I were touring a few local gardens last weekend. It was a beautiful day and the flowers were lovely ... especially the yellow ones! (Click on the photos for a larger view.)
