My cousin took this photo near Canberra, Australia last September. I love how the yellow frames the photo. Not sure what kind of tree that is - anyone know? (Click on the photo for a closer look).

It looks like mimosa.
Not a clue, but it's mighty pretty.

I agree, the framing is lovely! Wonderful photo.

I don't know the tree, but it's really beautiful.
I love this stunning yellow mimosas! Never was able to find out about all remarkable plant species, but I'm learning. Have a great week, everyone :)
It's a golden wattle. Trust me, I'm Australian :)
Trace
Tracey & Huffle - Oh yes - after googling Golden Wattle I think you are right! LOL Altho it did look like mimosa as well.
But seeing how you're Australian ... I'll trust ya ;)
I'm pretty sure that it's a golden wattle... I'm Aussie too.

That's one of the varieties of a wattle tree.(www.woollahra.nsw.gov.au/.../17596/image233.jpg)

My Yellow Aussie guy is here http://aussietalks.com/2009/04/yellow-wiggles.html
Very pretty!! I like how the flowers frame the picture. Very nice.
The scenery is so beautiful and framed by the yellow makes it extra special. Well... it is officially Monday here!
It's beautiful yellow tree!
What a lovely place. I have never seen a tree like that.
I hope that my entry this week will have everyone smiling.
I thought they were yellow wine grapes too Speedy! HAPPY BIRTHDAY by the way! :)
How pretty with all those bright, fuzzy flowers on it. The photo itself is lovely. It looks like it should be a label for a bottle of wine.
:-)
Nice capture! I love the yellow flowers. :) Happy MYM!
Those look absolutely beautiful!
My MYM is up!

What a beautiful picture!
I'm a first time participant in Mellow Yello Monday. It was fun, never realized how much yellow there is in this great big world of ours.
I look forward to reader all the other or at least most of the other participant's blogs as well. :O
This is gorgeous! Great photo! Thanks for hosting MYM!
Nice shot...love the framing...sorry #62 is a bad link, I don't know if you can delete it....
I don't know what kind of tree it is but it adds beauty to an already beautiful scene.
Great photo!!
I love this scene! Plus it makes me want to have a Mimosa ;)
Mr Linky appears to be hiding from me at the moment
I'm up at - http://hihidipi.blogspot.com/
I'll check back later :)
Kinda makes me want to go to Canberra to see it live.
Well I visited and I commented on all the links that allow comments.
I noticed some of the blogs listed only allow comments from certain users. I'm not a Google or OpenID user so I really felt left out. :(
I agree on the comment above. I can't leave comments on a lot of blogs either. I just thought it was because I use a Mac computer. They are a little weird and are left out on a lot of things. Anyway, your photo is beautiful. The framing is just perfect. Can't get much better than that. Happy Monday and thanks for the meme, I really enjoy it.
you're right there, it's nice framing. usually yellow flowas are down in the photos. nice change. happy MYM! :)
Lovely choice, Drowsey! Happy Monday to you! :D
That shot is totally awesome!
I love that yellow frame :D
That's a great shot. The framing really makes the picture.
IT does have beautiful flowers.
How wonderful! It almost looks like a million little yellow bees clinging to the tree. Love it.
Great scenic photo. Very relaxing to the eyes and mind.
:)
Yes, those flowers do frame it nicely. Haven't seen anything like that here in Virginia, USA. Very interesting though...and kinda looks like it could be pesky during hayfever season! Very nice photo!
For those commenting about commenting - yes I know it is frustrating when some people partake in these memes and then make it complicated to comment! lol - I don't get that.
I do not have a clue what kind of tree that is, but I DO know it is BEAUTIFUL. I too love the framing. Again, Thanks for this meme!
That is a beautiful scene
